Ok, ok. I do apologize for not doing this earlier as promised. Since coming back from my big trip spanning dec-jan, it has been CRAZY! and i really mean CRAZY! gone back to work right after the break and one of my colleague broke the news that he is leaving the office in 3 weeks....what?!?? 3 WEEKS!?!?!?!? Everyone was shocked and speechless. He was leaving to go work in UK. Ok, all of us didnt know what to say, congrats, or...? Since he announced it in front of everyone (my director included) it was quite an awkward situation... Anyway, with him leaving and another colleague going off for 6 weeks in Feb, that leaves only me and another colleague doing all the work in the office..great, thanks mates!
Anyway, back to the happier things. Hong Kong was one crazy city! One of the thing I noticed was, PORN IS EVERYWHERE! every single roadside newsagent sells porn magazine and most of them (believe me when I say half of the stores are usually filled with it) occupy the front row! And you wonder why it was such a big hoo-hah when those sex pics came out from Edison and those myriads of 'pretend' innocent actresses/singers...
It was a really really enjoyable trip. Met most of Manlok's relatives (all of them were really really friendly and generous) and his friends. Went to one of his good friend's wedding dinner but was a little different from what I am used to in Malaysia. Went to most of the places I wanted, but didnt manage to go to all, coz had a lot of catching up to do with his relatives and friends.
Bought heaps of winter clothes! G2000 is great! and Bossini is much cheaper too! So, by the end of the whole trip, with shopping in both Msia and HK, we ended posting 2 boxes (abt 30kg in all..) home as it couldnt fit into our luggage *@* Am so looking forward to going back there again to see the people and visit those places that I didnt manage to visit!
