anyone for some rock climbing?

Last weekend was a great one! I finally tried out rock climbing and the verdict is: IT ROCKS!!!!! I love it and I think it's such a great sport to do if you want to have a toned and fit body, and not just skinny and slim. It's fairly affordable here in Melbourne, as long as you don't do it everyday! Maybe once or twice a week is good. But if you are keen and wanna do it more often, you can always be a member of a rock climbing club and pay a fixed membership fee monthly and have as much time to do it as you can.

The one I went to was a place called Hardrock in the city. It's a really cool place as you can see out into the city as you climb, and so can the ppl in the city see you. Located in one of Melbourne's busy intersection, it's a really nice place. But of course being in the city, its quite busy. But still, very enjoyable.

Also, its a really good sport to be involved as a couple coz it helps strengthen the trust between 2 ppl. Coz as I climb up, Manlok has to be on ground to belay me (balance me and make sure I don't free fall and to lower me down to the ground when I am done...) and vice versa. Seriously, it is a very good relationship strengthener! :)

Here are some pics of indoor rock climbing centres. (ok, there's no pics of me, since I was climbing and Manlok was belaying, there was no one to take our pics!) Except for the first pic, the other 2 are of the place we went last Saturday!

My Bucket List

Bucket List is a list you have that lists all the things you want to do, want to see, want to experience, etc before you 'kick the bucket'. I think it's such an appropriate name for what ppl would usually name as the wish list. I have had a bucket list in my head since I was a kid and let me share some of the things with you:

1. go skydiving
2. learn scuba diving
3. go rock climbing
4. travel to all the seven wonders of the ancient world
5. visit buildings by my fave architects
6. climb a mountain
7. travel, travel, travel (ok, this mite be a bit vague)
8. do postgrad research
9. adopt a great dane and other dogs
10. work overseas

Ok, there is actually more that those listed in here but my list is just too long to continue on!!! Let us just work on these first, shall we?

SORRY TO ALL READERS!

I know we haven't updated our blog for quite awhile. Its been really crazy for my part, and definitely for bie's part too as I think she was busy travelling! (ahem, updates on the blog please...) I have just moved into a new place a few weeks ago so it was a little crazy between moving house, tutoring (semester just started abt the same time I moved into my place) and work. But I am trying now to update my blogs as often as possible... and you too bie! CHEERS!
